Privacy Policy

Seamstory (“the app”) is published by Sathiya Ventures (Pvt) Ltd. It makes seamless Instagram carousels and stories from your photos and is built so that your photos and words stay on your phone.

What we collect

Nothing. Seamstory has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We do not collect, store, sell or share any personal data, and the app does not send your photos or text to any server.

Your photos

• You choose which photos to open using your phone’s own photo picker. Seamstory can only see the photos you pick.
• Seamstory reads the “date taken” stored inside a photo to label Timeline layouts. It does not read location data.
• Your projects (photos, layout and text) are saved inside the app on your phone so you can come back to them. Deleting a project or the app removes them.

Saving and sharing

When you tap Save to Photos, finished slides are added to your photo library. On iPhone the app asks only for permission to add photos. When you tap Share, your phone’s share sheet opens and you choose where the slides go (for example Instagram); that app’s own privacy policy then applies.

Seamstory Pro (subscription)

Seamstory Pro is an optional yearly subscription that removes the “Made with Seamstory” mark. Payment and renewal are handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their own privacy policies. The app only asks the store whether your subscription is active; we never receive your payment details, name or email.

Children

Seamstory does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
